Most people use an agenda for storing different types of information, for example, notes, birthdays, reminders, ideas and so on. But in today's computer world, using a paper agenda to store information isn't enough anymore. That's because finding a certain piece of information can take ages in case the agenda is filled up with information. A better idea would be to use a specialized application for storing notes. Thus, your information will be much better organized and you can easily find a note that interests you.

RightNote is the name of the software which I am talking about. It's a simple Windows application, with an intuitive interface and installation wizard, that allows adding any type of information, from recipes to personal thoughts.

The interface of RightNote displays all the notes in a table of contents style, being efficiently organized. When run for the first time, the application will display some sample notes, for making the user familiar with the program's functionality. Notes can be easily created from scratch using text, images and video clips. The text formatting tools are similar to the ones included in most text editors, so beginners won't have trouble using them.

One can add an unlimited number of notes and can organize them in several categories. Besides that, notes can be imported from various applications and can also be exported into a wide range of file formats, like RTF or TXT, for using them in any text editor.

All the notes added to the program's interface can be saved as a file, for being reused later on. A spell checker is included in the interface, supporting numerous languages. Being organized in a tree-like manner, all the notes can be accessed in the shortest time, without even using the search tool.

Pros:
It allows adding any type of note, using various text editing tools and offering the possibility to add media content, like images or sounds. Besides that, notes can be imported from various file types, like TXT or RTF and can also be exported into the same formats, for using them in regular text editors. Furthermore, the list of notes included in the program can be backed up as a file.

Cons:
The menu system includes a lot of options and may be overwhelming for an inexperienced user.
